AUSTIN, Texas -- Whitehead Oil Co. selected PerformanceRetail’s InSite Retail Intelligence Suite for implementation across its retail chain. The company provides Web-based retail software for retailers and their suppliers.
The Lincoln, Neb.-based owner/operator of 30 U-Stop Convenience Shops is deploying the InSite software with a focus on loss prevention, market-basket analysis and category management.
"We selected the PerformanceRetail InSite Retail Intelligence Suite because of our need for timely information that we can act upon to increase sales and reduce shrink," said Mark Whitehead, president of Whitehead Oil. "With increased visibility into cashier performance, item movement and market basket analytics, we expect to see trends we’ve suspected were there but could never before access to make the decisions we need to improve our business."
The InSite solution from PerformanceRetail is designed to easily integrate with customer-installed legacy back office, pricebook and point-of-sale systems and provide users of those systems with new levels of business visibility. InSite delivers packaged reporting and analytics for loss prevention, sales and operations improvement and category management, enabling retailers to quickly identify issues and take proactive steps to improve revenues, margins and streamline store operations. Delivered as a secure service over the Internet, InSite can be deployed at the retailer's pace -- simplifying implementation, reducing risk and protecting the retailer's past technology investments.
"We are thrilled to be working with Whitehead Oil Co. Our Retail Intelligence Suite will provide packaged retail analytics and deliver quick, measurable return on investment, enabling Whitehead to gain new insights into their business while minimizing upfront costs," said Marc Hafner, president and CEO of PerformanceRetail. "We are pleased to add Whitehead to the rapidly growing roster of industry leaders who have come to us for the next generation in retail business intelligence solutions."
