VERC Enterprises Receives U.S. Local Business Association Award

The award recognizes exceptional marketing success in their community and business category.

DUXBURY, Mass. -- VERC Enterprises, operator of 12 convenience stores headquartered here, was awarded the 2008 Best of Plymouth Award in the Convenience Stores category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA), a Washington D.C.-based organization established to promote local businesses, the company stated.

"We're honored to be the recipient of this award," Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC, said in a statement. "The USLBA was established to recognize the best of local businesses in their communities and as such it means a great deal to us to be selected."

The award program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category, according to the company.
Winners were judged based on a variety of information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.
