    TravelCenters of America Increases Loyalty Program Benefits

    The chain is also inviting customers to nominate the best TA and Petro restaurants and servers.

    WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) unveiled a new online merchandise catalog for its UltraONE loyalty program members. Now, professional drivers have thousands of top-quality, name-brand rewards from which to choose -- items that can be obtained using UltraONE Points earned at TA and Petro Stopping Centers locations.

    "The new UltraONE Online Rewards catalog includes over 5,000 rewards items, from plasma TVs and other electronics, to outdoor and sporting gear, to clothing and jewelry, to truck accessories, and there are name brands such as Apple, Sony, Fenwick, Ralph Lauren, Swarovski and Charbroil, just to name a few," said Tom O'Brien, the company's president and CEO.

    UltraONE Online Rewards includes options for all ages, and customers can have their reward shipped anywhere, whether to themselves or friends or family. "The selection and convenience is awesome," O'Brien added. "UltraONE Online Rewards is one more way TravelCenters of America's UltraONE loyalty program is serving drivers better than any other driver loyalty program out there."

    UltraONE members can access the new catalog at www.ultraonerewards.com. Each reward's point value is listed on the website and includes all taxes, shipping and handling so there's no hidden costs. Because UltraONE is the only driver loyalty program where points never expire, drivers can use the "wish list" feature to help track points and save for larger items, the retailer noted.

    The UltraONE Driver Rewards Program and online shopping is available to all professional drivers. Membership in the loyalty program is free.

    In other TravelCenters of America news, the operator of full-service TA and Petro Stopping Centers is once again taking stock of its service levels and asking customers to tell it what they value in a restaurant and in the hard-working employees who serve them. The Best Restaurant & Server contest asks customers to help identify the best of the best by nominating their favorite TA and/or Petro sit-down restaurant location and server.

    "Our restaurant teams go above and beyond every day to ensure the buffets are stocked and fresh, and meals are served to order," said John Ponczoch, senior vice president of food operations. "We are asking our customers to help us identify the servers and restaurants that they feel deserve special recognition."

    Customers can nominate their favorites through Nov. 30 by completing the nomination form at www.ta-petro.com/thebest. Once all nominations are received, the top 10 restaurants and servers will be posted, and customers will be asked to revisit the website Dec. 15 to 31 to cast a ballot for Best Server and Best Restaurant. Winners will be named in February.
