TravelCenters of America and Continental Tire Form Agreement

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) and Continental Tire of the Americas LLC, entered into a multi-year supply agreement for commercial truck tires, the companies announced.

TA plans to offer Continental's HSL2, HDL Eco Plus Drive (Highway Drive Long Haul) and HTL Eco Plus (Highway Trailer Long Haul) truck tires at its more than 220 TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube maintenance and repair centers in the U.S. and Canada. This will offer more variety to TA's fleet and owner-operator customers in a market segment with tight supply, according to the announcement.

The company is currently adding Continental tires to its service centers' inventory and will start selling them by the end of May. The tires will have national account availability, and TA's RoadSquad emergency roadside assistance program will offer customers emergency replacement Continental tires.
