HONOLULU, Hawaii -- Drivers on Hawaii's islands can fuel up their cars cheaper and help raise funds for a good cause through 11 Tesoro gas stations in the state, area television station KHON2 reported.
The retail fuel locations lowered their gas prices by up to 8 cents per gallon on all grades yesterday for the fourth annual "Fueling Dreams" fundraiser to benefit the Hawaii Special Olympics, the report stated.
The fundraiser will also run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
In addition. Customers making $5 donations receive an entry form for a drawing to win two months of free gas through a $500 Tesoro fuel card, according to the report. And customers who donate $20 or more will receive a free commemorative Special Olympics Hawaii "Fueling Dreams" T-shirt.
