Rutter's Launches 'Register, Scan and Win Sweepstakes'

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Rewards today introduced the latest way to earn benefits with the "Register, Scan and Win Sweepstakes," which will award more than 1,000 prizes to customers each month through 2011, the company reported.

Prizes will vary including free gas for a month, a free cup of coffee or soup for one year, Rutter's gift cards and large-screen TVs. The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Maryland and Pennsylvania who are at least 18 years old.

To enter, customers need to register a Rutter's Rewards card and use it with each purchase made at Rutter's. Every scan equals another automatic entry, the company reported. Rutter's Rewards cards, which are free at any Rutter's store, can be registered at www.ruttersrewards.com or via iPhone, Android or BlackBerry smart phone by downloading the app at www.rutters.com.

"Of course, customers who use their Rutter's Rewards cards will continue to earn cents-off-per-gallon savings when they purchase items bearing a Rutter's Rewards icon," Jeff Leedy, senior vice president of marketing for Rutter's Farm Stores said in a released statement. "The added bonus with Register, Scan and Win is that every scan equals an entry, so it's important to use the Rutter's Rewards card with every purchase. A scan should be part of the plan with every Rutter's visit in 2011."
