SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- Outcast Media's PumpTopTV expanded its network by 15 percent during the first half of this year. According to the company, the world's largest wholly owned fuel dispenser digital media network added nearly 2,900 screens in 35 markets throughout the country during the first six months of 2011.
The rapid growth was driven by retailer and advertiser demand, as well as an exclusive partnership Outcast formulated with Gilbarco Veeder-Root.
PumpTopTV was only available in the top-20 populated U.S. markets as of October 2010. Now, the service is available in 24 states.
"In today's fast-paced world, it has become a challenge to capture and engage the consumer, but with PumpTopTV's high-quality screens, dynamic targeting and broadcast quality experience, we have seen exponential demand from both advertisers and retailers alike," said Matthew Stoudt, CEO of Outcast Media. "The strength of our relationship with Gilbarco coupled with the positive response from advertisers and retailers has allowed us to grow our overall PumpTopTV network on a national level in a short amount of time."
PumpTopTV is a channel designed to reach active, on-the-go consumers. Outcast Media also operates the Health Club Media Network for fitness enthusiasts.
Gilbarco Veeder-Root provides a broad range of technology-based integrated solutions for convenience store retailers.
