ROSEMONT, Ill. — Attendees of the 2015 Store Brands Innovation & Marketing Summit will get an up-close look at how the team at 7-Eleven Inc. is maximizing success in private brands.
Convenience stores and other small-format retailers represent a big opportunity for store brands. During a Feb. 26 retailer keynote session titled "Private Brands — Big Growth in Small Formats: One Year Later," a top 7-Eleven merchandising executive will detail the chain's progress over the past year in its pursuit to drive transformational growth in private brands.
Sean Thompson, senior director of merchandising, private brands for Dallas-based 7-Eleven, will discuss how retailers can get and leverage help to maximize store brand success and category growth. Attendees will hear how the 7-Eleven team assessed its position, developed its strategy and engaged the organization to secure the commitment and resources necessary to set a strong foundation.
The 2015 Store Brands Innovation & Marketing Summit will take place Feb. 25-27 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare hotel in Rosemont.
