Chester's Opens 26 New Sites in Three Months

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Chester's International had a busy spring, opening a total of 26 quick-service fried chicken franchise locations in March, April and May.

Chester's locations serve the chain's bone-in chicken, tenders and boneless wings along with a variety of Chester's signature side items, including potato wedges, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried corn, macaroni and cheese, and coleslaw. Chester's also offers dipping sauces to complement its fried chicken and other menu items.

In May, Chester's opened the following locations:

• Cash Saver/Cost Plus in Amarillo, Texas
• Cash Saver/Cost Plus in Wichita Falls, Texas
• Fast Mart and Fuel in Houston, Texas
• Fastway in Renwick, Iowa
• Friendly Express in Kingsland, Ga.
• Hudson Market in Hudson, Colo.
• Rosedale Chevron in Bakersfield, Calif.
• Silverdale Chevron in Silverdale, Wash.
• The Station in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
• Warehouse Market in Sheridan, Wyo.
• Westside Chevron in Needles, Calif.

"Chester's has had a busy spring. We are proud to welcome the addition of 11 outstanding new retail locations this May," stated John R. Nelson, regional operations manager for Chester's International. "We have a strong set of new partners and look forward to growing the Chester's brand with each retailer."

Chester's also opened eight new locations in April:

• East Avenue Gas Station in Norwalk, Conn.
• EZ Way in Bullard, Texas
• Friendly Express in Kingsland, Ga.
• Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores in Salisbury, N.C.
• Redfield Food Center in Redfield, S.D.
• The Landing in Greenwood, Miss.
• Quik Stop in Marmaduke, Ark.
• Quik Stop in Blytheville, Ark.

Additionally, several stores with Chester's locations completed renovations: B-Quick in Columbus, Miss; OM Foods in Townsend, Ga.; and Sunoco Food Mart in Newburgh, N.Y. According to a company official, the renovation program will help to grow the stores' food business.

In March, Chester's opened seven new locations:

• Discount Mart in Greenville, Texas
• Goodman Fast Track in Southaven, Miss.
• Heartland Foods in Scott City, Kan.
• R&D Express in San Augustine, Texas
• Rhodes 101 Convenience Stores in Anna, Ill.
• Rhodes 101 Convenience Stores in Maldon, Mo.
• The Big Apple in Orlando, Maine

Chester's also became available at the renovated Oak Park Bestway in Vicksburg, Miss.

Chester's currently has more than 2,000 locations nationwide.
