Daragh L. Porter has been named Ashland Inc. vice president, finance, and treasurer effective immediately. Porter will report to J. Marvin Quin, Ashland Inc. senior vice president and CFO, and her new role will add responsibility for investor relations to her current duties as treasurer.
"As treasurer, Daragh manages significant debt and investment portfolios, has responsibility for Ashland's pension funds and manages relations with bankers, rating agencies and fixed income investors," said Quin. "This experience, coupled with her broad knowledge of financial markets and investment processes, makes her a natural for investor relations as we reposition Ashland.”
Before being named Ashland Inc. treasurer in December 2002, Porter served as Ashland's general auditor since 2001. From January 1998 through November 2001, she had been with Marathon Ashland Petroleum (MAP), the joint venture with Marathon Oil Company that was formed in January 1998, first as manager, financial planning and treasurer, and then as president of Marathon Ashland Pipe Line LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of MAP.
NOCO Energy Corp.
NOCO Energy Corp. appointed Christie Tribuzzi human resources manager. She brings to her new position several years of human resource experience in retail and healthcare settings. A graduate of State University of New York at Oswego, Tribuzzi resides in Buffalo, N.Y.
“We are excited to have Christie join our human resources team,” said Nancy Bourque, director of human resources. “She brings to the department strength in the areas of recruitment, retention, project management and overall HR generalist duties.”
Mark VII Equipment
Mark VII Equipment LLC, which manufactures touch-free and friction carwash systems, promoted Robert Ulrich to vice president of production, and Heather Barker to aftermarket sales and marketing manager.
Ulrich draws upon 20 years of successful management experience in engineering, manufacturing and production. Since joining the company in 1992, he has served in a number of positions and currently heads all phases of production.
Barker manages order entry, customer service and ancillary products/parts sales. She brings experience in a variety of different and companies to her new role.
The H.J. Heinz Co. named Jeffrey P. Berger executive vice president. Berger will retain his responsibilities as president and CEO of Heinz North America Foodservice, but will also take charge of the company's worldwide foodservice business.
Tulsa, Okla.-based World Telemetry Inc. named Ray Hodges vice president of sales. With more than 20 years experience in the petroleum equipment industry, Hodges will lead World Telemetry's direct sales team, develop and manage its channel partner network, and oversee marketing and promotions efforts.
Hodges previously served as vice president of Marley Pump's Asian operations and he joined World Telemetry from Petro Data Inc. based in Seattle, a regional back-office software provider where he served as president.
