CARY, N.C. -- The Pantry Inc.'s Kangaroo Express convenience store chain is the title sponsor of the 2010 Summer Shootout Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway, WhoWon.com reported.
"We are excited Kangaroo Express has come on board to sponsor the Kangaroo Express Summer Shootout Series," Seamus Curley, director of events at Charlotte Motor Speedway said in the report. "We strive to provide affordable family fun at The Mecca of Motorsports and the Tuesday night tradition of racing offers fans great entertainment without putting a strain on their wallets. Kangaroo Express's support is just another step in establishing the Series as one of the best in short-track racing."
The Kangaroo Express Summer Shootout kicks off June 8, and is held each Tuesday night through Aug. 10, at Charlotte Motor Speedway's frontstretch quarter-mile oval. At each event, Legend Car and Bandolero racing will be featured, the report stated. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children ages 6 to 12, while children under 6 are admitted free.
