The energy company and c-store retailer plans to give away numerous prizes.

TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- NOCO Energy Corp. is hoping its milestone anniversary celebration turns a few lucky customers into big winners.

On July 15, the family-owned and locally-operated company will launch its 80th Birthday Bash Scratch & Win Sweepstakes across all 35 NOCO Express convenience store locations. From July 15 through Aug. 20, customers who make a purchase at any NOCO Express, in-store or at the pump, will receive a Scratch & Win ticket.

They could become the instant winner of prizes such as a trip for four to Orlando, 46-inch televisions, mini iPads, $80 NOCO gift cards, Buffalo Bills tickets, NOCO Express gasoline for one year, NOCO electricity for a year, NOCO natural gas for a year, and more than 10,000 coupons for discounts inside NOCO Express locations.

"We are proud of our strong western New York roots and our 80th anniversary is not only a time to celebrate, but also a time to give back to our customers who helped us to reach this milestone," said Michael F. Newman, executive vice president. "Thank you to our customers and the local communities we serve, who have come to rely on NOCO Express for their fuel, freshly prepared meals, grocery items and other on-the-go needs."

NOCO Energy Corp. was founded in Tonawanda in 1933 by Reginald B. Newman and started out supplying coal to residential customers. The company eventually entered the retail convenience store business in 1984 with its first NOCO Express location. Today, there are 35 NOCO Express c-stores throughout the Buffalo and Rochester areas that serve more than 15 million customers annually.
