NOCO EVP Named Chairman of NYACS
TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- Michael F. Newman, executive vice president of NOCO Energy Corp. was appointed chairman of the New York Association of Convenience Stores (NYACS) for a one-year term.
As chairman, Newman is the chief elected officer of NYACS and sets the tone and direction for the association. In addition he presides over meetings of the general membership, the NYACS Retail Board, executive committee and joint meetings.
Founded in 1986, NYACS is a private, not-for-profit association dedicated to unifying, serving and representing the convenience store industry of New York State. NYACS’ membership consists of 250 companies that operate more than 1,500 convenience store locations across the state, according to the association.
