NCR's Radiant POS to Integrate Sparkfly Mobile Marketing Platform

DULUTH, Ga. – NCR Corp. is certainly keeping busy lately. The global technology solutions provider today entered into an agreement to integrate Sparkfly's mobile marketing platform into its Radiant point-of-sale (POS) software, including its Aloha program.

Sparkfly's smartphone application allows for delivery and redemption of digital offers and discounts at the POS. According to the announcement, the integration will give retailers the ability to grow incremental revenues, enhance cross-selling capabilities and drive consumer engagement across multiple channels.

NCR acquired Radiant last month.

Andy Heyman, senior vice president of NCR Hospitality and Specialty Retail, said this latest agreement is in response to a customer need for the integration of platforms with POS transactional data. "Sparkfly's ability to enable personalized mobile promotions makes them an ideal partner to provide businesses with the best tools for building connections with consumers," he said.

Catherine Tabor, CEO of the 10-year-old Sparkfly, added that its platform rewards consumers based on purchase frequency or volume. "Users of Radiant POS software will benefit from the security and simplicity of direct POS redemption of offers, making it easy to get closer to the consumer."
