NCR Appoints Scott Kingsfield Senior VP, GM of Retail

The announcement follows its purchase last week of Radiant Systems, where Kingsfield worked.

DULUTH, Ga. -- NCR Corp. named Scott Kingsfield senior vice president and general manager of its retail line of business. Kingsfield comes to NCR from Radiant Systems, where he served in many senior leadership positions since 1997. Most recently, he was president of Radiant's retail, sports and entertainment division.

The appointment follows NCR's acquisition of Radiant Systems, which was completed on Aug. 24. Radiant is a point-of-sale solutions provider to convenience stores.

"Scott's proven track record driving profitable growth through world-class indirect sales channels, advancing a portfolio of innovative retail solutions is a perfect complement to NCR's core business and broad distribution," stated John Bruno, NCR's executive vice president, to whom Kingsfield will now report.

Bruno added that Kingsfield's retail and software knowledge will be an excellent addition to NCR.

Kingsfield remarked that NCR's retail group is dedicated and delivered excellent first-half 2011 results. "I look forward to the opportunity to lead this talented, global team and bring our customers an outstanding portfolio of solutions that help retailers differentiate themselves and attract today's empowered and elusive consumer."

NCR's retail line of business provides several assisted- and self-service technologies including NCR e-tailing solutions, a set of software and services that allow retailers to offer consumers greater personalization and consistency across converged channels, according to the company’s announcement.
