Jump on the "mini" menu craze with new Johnsonville Sausage Minis in two varieties—Mini Stadium Style Brats and Mini Italian Sausages. The stadium brat flavor is uniquely seasoned while the Italian version features a special blend of Italian herbs and spices, the company stated. At 3.5 inches long and 1.6 ounces each, the skinless Sausage Minis can be heated in minutes, and are made with pork, with no textured vegetable protein, fillers or cereals added, the company stated. Sausage Minis are packed frozen for storage at 2.5-pounds to a case. The sausages can be a sit-down or grab-and-go menu option across all dayparts, according to the company. Menu ideas utilizing the sausages include "Mini Combos," Mini Stadium Style Brats with chopped onion and coarse-ground mustard served on pretzel rolls; "Caprese Gone Crazy Sandwich," with Mini Italian Sausage, fresh basil, mozzarella and sliced tomato on a bakery roll with sundried-tomato pesto; and "Piccolo Italian Sampler Platter," with al-dente bowtie pasta, cherry tomatoes, pesto and Mini Italian Sausages.
