J&J Snack Foods Corp. has opened a new Culinary Center to help facilitate the company’s growth in the foodservice and retail segments.
With the new culinary center, J&J will have the means to expand and diversify its product lines, including soft pretzels, cookies, churros, funnel cakes and biscuits.
National director of product development Don McComas fired up the grand-opening event by preparing some of J&J Snack Foods’ signature products. Attendees at the ceremony enjoyed banana fosters a la funnel cake, churros bread pudding and a gourmet pretzel roll Monte Cristo sandwich.
J&J Snack Foods manufactures an expanding variety of nutritional snack foods to the foodservice and retail industries. Its principal products include frozen soft pretzels under SuperPretzel, Pretzel Fillers and other brand names; Icee frozen beverages; Luigi’s Real Italian Ice and Mama Tish’S Premium Italian Ices; frozen juice bars under the Minute Maid, Chill, Barq’s, and SHAPE UPS brand names; Tio Pepe’s churros; The Funnel Cake Factory funnel cakes; and cookies under the Readi-Bake, Mrs. GoodCookie and Camden Creek brands.
