ATLANTA – RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. and Empower Software Solutions announced a milestone in the rollout of workforce management solution EmpowerWFM within the convenience store chain's network. All 365 RaceTrac stores have utilized EmpowerTime, the time and attendance product from the EmpowerWFM solution suite, since Feb. 28.
This marks the first successful phase in the systemwide rollout of EmpowerWFM, which includes labor forecasting and automated scheduling of store associates.
"The implementation of EmpowerWFM is key to achieving our goal of coordinating staffing to peak traffic levels in our locations, which will result in increased service to our customers," said Jaime Benton, director of human resources for RaceTrac.
When integrated with the rest of EmpowerWFM, EmpowerTime is designed to give RaceTrac managers a more robust tool for managing their workforce, allowing them to focus on customer satisfaction, store operations and the development of store associates.
The integrated labor forecasting and automated scheduling solutions are currently being phased into the RaceTrac store network, with completion expected shortly.
