SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — F.L. Roberts & Co. launched its new mobile app, which provides users with instant access to coupons, deal alerts, lottery results and gas prices while on the go.

The app, introduced in coordination with GasBuddy OpenStore, provides members of the F.L. Roberts location with the amenities they seek.

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of the F.L. Roberts app,” said Steven Roberts, president of F.L. Roberts. “The OpenStore solution allows us to reach our customers no matter where they are and offers real value for their busy lives.”

According to GasBuddy OpenStore, it provides the tools to send targeted messages and custom deals based on customer preferences, which gives F.L. Roberts the ability to translate digital marketing efforts into store traffic and sales.

“We are excited to partner with F.L. Roberts to create a robust digital marketing campaign through the OpenStore solution,” said Tony Chidiac, vice president of retail for GasBuddy OpenStore. “Our key objective is to connect retailers to their customers in a way that will drive sales, increase engagement and boost brand awareness.”

GasBuddy OpenStore is a technology solution intended to increase customer loyalty by providing two-way communication between convenience store owners and customers using web technologies and custom-branded mobile applications.

Springfield-based F.L. Roberts & Co. is the largest independent petroleum marketer in western Massachusetts.
