DUXBURY, Mass. — VERC Enterprises received a 2015 Best of Plymouth Award in the Convenience Stores category. This marks the eighth straight year that the convenience store chain has been honored, qualifying it for inclusion in the Plymouth Business Hall of Fame.
The annual Plymouth Award Program identifies companies that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. They are honored for their proven ability to enhance the positive image of small-business service to their customers and community through the use of best practices and programs that generate competitive advantages and long-term value.
The 2015 award recipients were determined based on both information gathered internally by the program and data provided by third parties.
VERC Enterprises is one of a very small number of companies to hold the distinction of winning the Best of Plymouth Award for consecutive years, granting it a Hall of Fame designation.
"It is an honor to once again receive the Best of Plymouth Award in the Convenience Stores category," stated VERC President Leo Vercollone. "And taking a place in the Hall of Fame makes everyone in our fine professional family proud; our commitment to the communities we serve is steadfast."
Duxbury-based VERC operates convenience stores and gas stations throughout eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
