Circle K Gives Consumers 'Five-Finger Discount'

GLENDALE, Calif. -- Circle K shoppers laid their fingers on a free, limited-edition vintage Butterfinger bar yesterday, just like the one stolen from Seth Green and the object of the nationwide search online at www.DudeWheresMyBar.com.

The alternate reality game experience came to life as fans had the opportunity to take home their very own free, full-sized Butterfinger bar featuring a limited-edition 1928 retro wrapper. While thousands of consumers are playing online to help solve the mystery surrounding the Oct. 2 theft of Green's vintage bar, Nestle created 200,000 vintage bars. They were available while supplies lasted at nearly 2,000 participating Circle K stores nationwide.
