    GSP, Kronik Energy Join The Pantry to 'Salute Our Troops'

    The campaign has a goal of raising $1 million for military support organizations.

    CARY, N.C. – GSP, a provider of graphic and industrial design solutions for the retail industry, is joining The Pantry Inc. in support of its "Salute Our Troops" campaign, which raises funds for organizations that assist military personnel and their families.

    From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the retailer’s 1,600 Kangaroo Express stores in 13 southeastern states are asking customers to make $1 donations to the campaign. Raised funds will go to the USO, the Wounded Warrior Project and five state-based military support organizations. The campaign has set a total goal of raising $1 million.

    GSP is working with The Pantry to incorporate the "Salute Our Troops" theme throughout existing site-specific point-of-purchase elements and collateral at Kangaroo Express locations, according to the company’s announcement.

    "GSP is proud to be part of this initiative with Kangaroo Express," said GSP CEO Geoff Neuhoff. "We look forward to the Jeep Tour visiting our Clearwater facility on July 5th and having the many GSP military veterans share in this celebration."

    In addition to raising funds at the store level, the "Salute Our Troops" campaign is sponsoring a Jeep Tour, which will honor military heroes and their families with celebrations in local communities along the tour route. For the duration of the campaign, The Pantry is also encouraging customers to post photographic and video "shout outs" on Kangaroo Express' Facebook page at facebook.com/KangarooExpress, many of which the company will select to showcase on its Salute Our Troops website at www.kesaltute.com.

    KroniCo, the maker of Kronik Energy, is also joining The Pantry’s campaign. In addition to inviting its social media fans to support the campaign, Kronik Energy will hand out free samples of its line of energy drinks at each stop of the Jeep Tour. "We are thrilled to be a part of this campaign," said Chris Wickson, vice president of sales and marketing for KroniCo. "It is such a huge honor to be welcomed into the Kangaroo family, and we embrace the opportunity to do our part to make 'Salute Our Troops' a huge success."
