HOT SPRINGS, Va. -- Gilbarco Veeder-Root announced a new initiative that helps retailers develop customized payment security and compliance programs for fuel island and in-store point-of-sale
The Gilbarco Payment Security Plan Worksheet was provided to more than 70 participants from leading petroleum retail companies who attended the company's Retail Systems Users' Conference at the Homestead Resort here.
"We find that customers who use this process emerge from it well-informed, confident and ready to act," Scott McDowell, marketing manager, North American payment products for Gilbarco Veeder-Root said in a released statement.
The worksheets were completed during PCI training sessions and allowed participants to begin the process of developing a customized plan for their company. "Gilbarco's payment planning process is a structured way to prioritize the actions that are needed for compliance and helps retailers understand their upgrade options," said Jason Collins, IT manager at Englefield Oil, an Ohio retailer. "I now have a clear plan of action, a schedule, and a lot less anxiety."
