GREENSBORO, N.C. -- New integrated digital signage solutions that coordinate advertising and promotional messages are on tap from Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Allure Global Solutions Inc.
The Atlanta-based companies are targeting convenience stores with its new technology platform featuring Gilbarco's Applause media system that displays messaging on Encore S dispensers color screens, and indoor digital signs from Allure Global Solutions.
"Digital signage is proven to be more effective than paper signs in driving retail sales," Kirn Khalsa, self-service marketing manager at Gilbarco Veeder-Root, said in a released statement. "Retailers who deploy these solutions enjoy the flexibility to change messaging instantly, the ability to segment day parts for unique messaging and avoid the expense and time needed to prepare and hang traditional paper signs."
Robert Lawrence, executive vice president of marketing and digital media at Allure Global Solutions, explained this partnership provides the ability to deliver the first fully-integrated indoor-outdoor digital signage solution for retail convenience setting.
"It will enable retailers to effectively manage synchronized and consistent advertising messages across the forecourt and inside the convenience store. The ability to use Gilbarco's Applause media system is highly appealing to our customers, who appreciate Gilbarco's open architecture approach," Lawrence said in a released statement.
