FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- In an effort to enhance its price and promotion optimization, Cumberland Farms has selected KSS Retail integrated solutions.
One of the largest convenience store chains in the Northeast, Cumberland Farms vice president of Marketing, Ari Haseotes, explained the company will utilize the KSS Retail solution to accurately model, forecast and optimize pricing and promotions.
"We are focused on providing our customers with convenience and value," Haseotes said in a released statement. "Using the KSS Retail price optimization solution will provide our merchants with fast and accurate predictive insight into pricing decisions, to ensure that we deliver our customers the value they have come to expect from Cumberland Farms. We conducted an extensive evaluation of the optimization products in the market and the selection of KSS Retail became an obvious choice."
Lance Jacobs, KSS Retail chief executive officer, explained that Cumberland Farms will benefit from the solution due to its ability to leverage self-learning demand models with real-time. This combination, he said, allows for optimization on the front lines of merchandising.
