Chevron ExtraMile to Launch Warp Speed Instant Win Game

SAN RAMON, Calif. -- Chevron Corp. embarked on a mission to support the upcoming film Star Trek Into Darkness. Now through June 30, visitors to Chevron ExtraMile locations can play the new Warp Speed Instant Win Game for a chance to win various entertainment and gaming prizes.

"We are really excited to announce the ExtraMile Warp Speed Instant Win Game in celebration of the highly-anticipated Star Trek Into Darkness movie," said Ian Noble, Chevron ExtraMile's retail district sales manager. "Our long-standing mission is to evolve the convenience store experience by providing value to our customers. This exclusive Warp Speed promotion is another example of how we're aligning those goals and constantly improving upon our offerings."

To participate, customers can simply visit one of ExtraMile's 600-plus retail locations in California, Oregon or Washington to pick up a scratch-off game card with no purchase necessary. Customers then have a one in 10 chance of winning instant prizes such as one of 10 Star Trek-themed gaming centers, including a 40-inch HDTV; Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft; gaming chair; and "Star Trek: The Video Game."

Other prizes include 100 Xbox 360 consoles with the new Star Trek video game and 500 Star Trek (2009) DVD and Blu-ray packs.

In addition to prizes from Xbox and Star Trek, winning game cards may reveal thousands of in-store prizes, including Seattle's Best Coffee, Doritos chips, Snickers or Milky Way Bites, resource Natural Spring Water, Pepsi-Cola and ExtraMile Bucks.

Customers can also collect an exclusive set of Star Trek Into Darkness collectible cups when purchasing a 32-ounce fountain drink, while supplies last.

Star Trek Into Darkness opens in theaters May 17.
