TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Jim and Pat Fash of Jiffy Mini Marts based in Terre Haute, Indiana have sold their eight convenience stores to BDS Oil Company of Muncie, Indiana. The transaction was facilitated by Terry Monroe of American Business Brokers of Effingham, IL.
The sale is the result of the decision by Jim and Pat Fash to retire after over 25 years in the convenience store industry, according to American Business Brokers' president, Terry Monroe. "Jiffy Mini Marts have been prominent in the Terre Haute, Indiana market place for over 30 years." Monroe said. "Jim and Pat Fash had reached a point in their successful business career where they were open to the idea of retiring and enjoying more time with their family. The Fash's were complimentary of their loyal employees and long time customers and stated that they will miss them all and praise them for their past service and business.
The eight stores involved in the deal are all located in Terre Haute, with the exception of one store in Marshall, Illinois.
