    Atlas Oil Adds Valero Brand to Retail Portfolio

    Atlas Oil Co. added Valero to its portfolio of retail brands, which also includes BP, CITGO, Clark, Conoco Phillips and Marathon.

    TAYLOR, Mich. -- Atlas Oil Co. added Valero to its portfolio of retail brands, which also includes BP, CITGO, Clark, Conoco Phillips and Marathon. A total of six Valero stations will join the Atlas family of brands initially with additional sites to be added in the future, the company reported.

    "We are extremely excited to bring Valero into our distinguished family of brands," executive vice president of retail, William Shaver, said in a released statement. "We choose our brands carefully and give them our 100 percent commitment to customer service and support."

    Valero has been the fastest growing fuel brand in the country over the past few years. Since it's founding as a natural gas transportation company 30 years ago, Valero transformed itself into North America's largest independent refining and marketing company, supplying products to more than 5,800 branded retail outlets, according to the company.
