TravelCenters Voted Best Truck Stop Experience

WESTLAKE, Ohio — TravelCenters of America LLC, operator of TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel centers, was voted the "Best Truck Stop Experience" in Overdrive magazine's eight annual "Voted Best" survey. The chain was also the top pick in numerous other categories, as chosen by professional drivers. 

The independent survey was conducted in October to gather feedback on truck stop services and amenities.

"Every year, we look forward to conducting this survey because it provides us with measurable feedback from professional drivers on how we are doing in all facets of our business," said TravelCenters President and CEO Tom O'Brien. "Once again, drivers have shown their preference for all of the amenities we offer at our full-service facilities. Those services, coupled with the friendliness and competence shown by all of our employees, add up to our goal of showing professional drivers the respect they deserve while doing such an important job."

Professional drivers also voted that TravelCenters offers the "Most Comprehensive Driver Services" and is the "Most Trustworthy Brand." Additionally, the chain won top marks in multiple categories for its employees; fuel; parking lots; showers and restrooms; restaurants; stores; truck repair and maintenance; driver comforts; and community outreach.

Driver preference for TA and Petro brands compared to the next-closest truck stop brand was as strong as nine to one in certain categories, according to the announcement.

Westlake, Ohio-based TravelCenters operates 251 full-service locations in 43 states and Canada.
