    York Turkey Hill Shuttered

Store did not fit current business model due to size, limited parking and accessibility, company reported.

YORK, Pa. -- Kroger Supermarket's Turkey Hill Minit Markets convenience store here closed permanently last weekend, the York Dispatch reported.

The lease for the location had come up, and the store didn't fit Turkey Hill's current business model due to its small size, limited parking and its accessibility along the congested stretch of Route 74, Turkey Hill spokeswoman Erin Dimitriou Smith told the paper. As a result, the company chose not to renew it.

However, the company is looking for a new location to replace the store, "but at this point we don't have anything set," she said.
