Xtra Mart Celebrates Excellence among Managers
STURBRIDGE, Mass. -- Xtra Mart recently held a Managers Appreciation Night Celebrating Excellence at the Sturbridge Host & Hotel here.
The Manager of the Year was Julie Hayward of Ushers Road, N.Y., and the first runner up for Manager of the Year was Ahmed Hamed of Brewster, N.Y. Second runner up was Jean Ziegenfuss of North Stonington, Conn.
Managers of the Month included Gina Porcelli of East Dominick, N.Y.; Caroline Smith of Plainfield, Conn.; Diane Sajkowicz, of Norwich, Conn.; Jay Polochanin of Pittsfield, Mass.; Steve Campbell of Squaw Hollow, Conn.; Anna Ross of Thomaston, Conn.; Dan Corr of Seneca Turnpike, N.Y.; John Rarus of Manchester, Conn.; and Tom Flesia of West Kingston, R.I.
Additionally, several managers were recognized for their outstanding safety efforts this year, including Sherry Stuart of Blackstone, Mass.; Kevin Simon of Groton, Conn.; Kathy Widley of Ilion, N.Y.; Melissa Vassar of North Grafton, Mass.; Jozette Gambardella of Meriden, Conn.; Jon Zoranaski of North Haven, Conn.; Lisa Michaud of Saco, Maine; Brenda Williams of Ogunquit, Maine; Robin Hall of Red Hook, N.Y.; and Joan Senosk of Worcester, Mass.
Managers also were recognized for going the Xtra Mile for their help in raising donations for The Jennifer Creed Fund.
