BUFFALO, N.Y. -- In an move to expand its private label brands, Wilson Farms Inc. will add a Fresh n’ Ready Bakery program to 60 of its 194 locations operating under the Wilson Farms, Sugarcreek and Wilson Farms Xpress banners, as a replacement to Krispy Kreme doughnuts products, the company stated.
"The products will compliment our Wilson Farms Gourmet Coffee Program," Wilson Farms category manager, Richard Pajak, said in a statement. "Through this program we will be able to keep up with our customers’ demands for a wider variety and assortment of bakery items."
The Fresh n’ Ready Bakery will offer a variety of fresh-baked products delivered daily, including doughnuts, bagels, giant muffins and doughnut holes, according to the company. Stores carrying the Fresh n’ Ready Bakery will receive fresh-baked products on a daily basis from a commissary located in Cheektowaga, Pajak added.
"This program, combined with our Fresh n’ Ready breakfast program and the Wilson Farms coffee program, will help to create a one-stop shopping experience for our customers and will help them save time and money," Paul Nanula, president and CEO of Wilson Farms, said in a statement. "It’s about creating 100 percent customer satisfaction every time they walk in the door, and this is just one of the many ways Wilson Farms is able to do so."
