Williams TravelCenters, a subsidiary of The Williams Cos. Inc., inked a multiyear agreement with Louisville, Ky.-based TelaPoint Inc., a supplier of Internet supply chain software for the convenience store and petroleum marketing industry.
Williams TravelCenters plans to use TelaPoint's TelaFuel, a Web-based application suite, to improve management of fuel replenishment operations across its 61 travel centers throughout the United States.
With TelaFuel, Williams TravelCenters will electronically collect and process real-time fuel replenishment information from retail stores and share it with preferred fuel carriers to better manage petroleum inventories and supply logistics, resulting in lower costs, greater operational efficiency and enhanced relationships with transportation suppliers.
