WilcoHess Adds Dunkin' Donuts in North Carolina

WILSON, N.C. – Four WilcoHess convenience stores here will see the addition of Dunkin' Donuts quick-service restaurants (QSRs), according to a report by The Wilson Daily Times.

"We would be the franchisee, buy a franchise license and operate it in our stores," Steve Williams, president of WilcoHess, which is headquartered in Winston-Salem, told the paper. "It's not like a free-standing Dunkin' Donuts. There won't be any seating. It will just be service."

Dunkin' Donuts locations are planned for the WilcoHess stations at 3950 Ward Blvd., 2131 Forest Hills Road, 2634 U.S. 301 and 4901 N.C. 58, according to Kevin Medeiros, land development coordinator with the city of Wilson.

Interior changes or exterior additions to the buildings could be made, Medeiros told the paper.

"It will vary from store to store," Williams said, adding no planned opening dates are set, but it would take two to three weeks to make the changes after local requirements are met.
