Wawa's Website Target for Hackers

PHILADELPHIA -- Over the weekend, Wawa's website fell prey to hackers, as visitors to the site were greeted with a carton featuring Adolf Hitler, and the name of the group who had done the damage, according to a report by the Philadelphia CBS affiliate.

In a statement to the news outlet, Wawa's public relations director explained there was no evidence to show the actual website had been breached. However, it did appear that visitors were being redirected to a "non-legitimate webpage."

The group responsible, UGNazi, included a link to follow them on Twitter, where they tweeted about high gas prices and plans to hack the c-store's gas pumps, the report stated.

According to reports, the website is now operating normally.
