VPMA Plans Convention
The Virginia Petroleum Marketers Association (VPMA) will hold its fall convention October 14-16 at the Fall Convention Center at Kinsgsmill in Williamsburg, Va.
The convention is scheduled to feature multiple guest speakers including Virginia Gubernatorial candidates Mark Earley and Mark Warner. "This will be an exclusive opportunity to hear from the individual who will be leading our state over the next four years," said Mike O'Connor, president of VPMA.
Other scheduled convention highlights include:
* A gala opening reception hosted by Irving, Texas-based Exxon Mobil Corp.;
* an industry update from Kendall MacGibbon, eastern retail manager for ExxonMobil;
* a golf tournament; and
* a Gala Williamsburg Dinner sponsored by Tulsa, Okla.-based Citgo Petroleum Corp. to present the Virginia Oilman of the Year.
