PLYMOUTH, Mass. -- Volta Oil Co. has selected PriceAdvantage to automate fuel pricing at its 16 company-owned convenience stores on the east coast.
Peter Garrett, president of Volta Oil, provided several reasons why he chose Colorado Springs, Colo.-based PriceAdvantage's software solution in a news release. Among those were the automatic importation of PDI Enterprise volume sales and real-time competitive survey collection.
"PriceAdvantage offered all the features and functions we needed to take control of our fuel pricing by improving our processes with greater efficiency," said Garrett. "We no longer have to comb through spreadsheets of information to analyze our next pricing move, everything is easily in PriceAdvantage."
PriceAdvantage is a retail fuel pricing solution designed to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of c-store retailers' pricing process.
"We're confident that PriceAdvantage will quickly and accurately provide Volta Oil with the strategic and tactical tools to maximize their overall fuel profitability," said Aaron McHugh, head of the PriceAdvantage division, which is owned by Skyline Products
In addition to its company-operated stores, Volta Oil supplies petroleum to more than 60 Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island c-stores.
