RICHMOND, Va. -- The Virginia Petroleum, Convenience and Grocery Association added truck stop operators to its list of eligible members, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported.
The new addition, effective Jan. 1, is part of a merger between the Mason-Dixon Truck Stop Operators Association and the Virginia c-store association. The group already shared members between the two organizations, said president of the c-store association, Mike O'Connor.
The Mason-Dixon association was formed more than 20 years ago. Longtime executive director for the association, George Bruner, retired Dec. 31.
