NEW YORK -- Need an energy drink, snack bar, gum, breath mints or pain relievers on the go? New Yorkers may soon have a new way to quench their hunger and thirst.
"New Yorkers demand convenience. They want to be as effective with their time as possible," Brian Shimmerlik, an NYU Stern School of Business student and the person behind TaxiTreats, the company he founded to provide this service, told the newspaper.
It's unknown how soon vending machines could be installed in taxi cabs or what retail price each item would fetch.
