LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Agoura Hills, Calif.-based USA Petroleum Corp. has implemented TelaPoint Inc.'s TelaFuel Internet software solution to streamline and manage its fuel-replenishment process. USA Petroleum is using TelaFuel, a browser-based application suite, to improve management of fuel-replenishment operations across more than 160 convenience stores located primarily in California.
With TelaFuel, USA Petroleum is electronically processing fuel replenishment transactions with preferred fuel carriers to better manage petroleum inventories and supply logistics, resulting in lower costs and greater administrative efficiency.
"Our decision to implement TelaPoint's Internet supply-chain solution is a key component of our ongoing strategy to optimize petroleum supply efficiencies for our retail operation," said Mark Conant, president of USA Petroleum. "TelaFuel is helping us optimize fuel inventory costs and streamline the reconciliation of petroleum supply transactions through its integration with our PDI accounting system."
TelaFuel is an Internet supply-chain software solution that helps companies realize fewer communication errors with transportation partners, lower fuel inventory and replenishment costs, make better fuel purchasing and pricing decisions and streamline fuel invoice reconciliation.
"TelaPoint is proud to be a partner with USA Petroleum and is committed to assisting them in achieving their retail petroleum objectives," said TelaPoint president Mike Dahlem. "High-volume marketers such as USA Petroleum clearly recognize the enormous potential to increase business process efficiencies, trim costs and to develop and enhance relationships with new and existing trading partners."
