Uni-Mart Acquires 28 BP Sites in Ohio
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Uni-Mart completed the acquisition of 28 BP-braded retail and wholesale fuel locations in the Youngstown, Ohio market.
With the agreement, the BP brand will remain, and Uni-Marts will operate 21 of the BP sites and supply the remaining seven sites, which are dealer-operated. The acquisition brings the number of locations that Uni-Mart operates to 288 across Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio, according to Matrix Capital Markets Group, Inc., which assisted the transaction. In addition, it will boost its fuels marketing to more than 180 million gallons per year.
Matrix Capital Markets Group, Inc. assisted the transaction by providing advisory services to carry out the transaction. Tom Kelso, managing director and head of the energy and multi-site retail group, and vice president Spencer Cavalier, managed the transaction.
