UFC Star Dan Hardy Coming to Terrible Herbst Store
LAS VEGAS -- Terrible Herbst is partnering with XYIENCE, makers of Xenergy, the official energy drink of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), to give fans in Las Vegas a chance to meet UFC fighter Dan Hardy. The British UFC welterweight will sign autographs at Terrible Herbst's store at 6716 S. Las Vegas Blvd., July 3, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Hardy will be in Las Vegas to support fellow XYIENCE team fighter Wanderlei Silva, who will compete in UFC 116 at the MGM Grand, also July 3. At the Terrible Herbst signing, fans will get the chance to sample all of the Xenergy flavors, including the newest flavor in the Xenergy Xtreme lineup – Orange Fuel.
The first 50 fans who purchase a 12-pack case of Xenergy will receive an XYIENCE T-shirt and water bottle for Hardy to sign, according to the energy drink maker.
Hardy has fought professionally since 2004, and has held titles with Cage Warriors, including Light Welterweight and Welterweight World Champion. In 2008, he signed with the UFC, and now has an overall mixed martial arts (MMA) record of 23-7-0. The fighter signed an endorsement deal with XYIENCE earlier this year.
"It's not every day that UFC fans get the chance to meet fighters like Dan Hardy, let alone on this personal of a level," stated Jessica Lautman, XYIENCE's senior marketing specialist, who heads up fighter relations.
"With such a huge UFC following here in Las Vegas and Dan's growing popularity, we're sure there is going to be a great turnout and it will be an exciting day for both XYIENCE and for the store."
