Two Pilot Flying J Sites Damaged by Dallas Tornadoes

DALLAS-FORT WORTH -- The series of tornados that struck the Dallas-Forth Worth area on April 3 damaged two Pilot Flying J facilities according to a Landlinemag.com report. The sites were struck by two separate tornados.

The Pilot Travel Center on Lancaster Road and the Flying J Travel Plaza on Bonnie View Road received minor damage, said Lauren Christ, spokeswoman for Pilot Flying J.

"No Pilot Flying J associates or customers were injured during the storm, and operations and all fuel pumps are up and running at both locations," said Christ in a statement.

Overall, as many as 12 tornadoes caused massive damage in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on Tuesday, tossing tractor-trailers in the air, and destroying homes and businesses.
