PrintRaceTrac Off to the Races with More Prototype Locations

ATLANTA -- RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. recently unveiled its first "6000" prototype store in the area, and more are quickly on the way.

The retailer's first 6,000-square-foot prototype store opened in Acworth, Ga., on Jan. 5. Now, Peachtree City, Ga., will have its own "6000" prototype store to call its own after receiving the local planning commission's approval, NeighborNewspapers.com reported.

Like its Acworth counterpart, the new Peachtree City store will be stocked with more than 4,000 retail and foodservice items, 10 Swirl World Yogurt flavors with more than 40 toppings, 12 fresh-brewed teas, free Wi-Fi, digital screens and more, according to a RaceTrac news release.

"Our new design is extra special for us because it represents many years of hard work for the entire RaceTrac team, Sherri Scott, RaceTrac's spokesperson, told the news outlet."The new store in Acworth has been very successful and we've received such a warm welcome from the community. We look forward to making the lives of our of new Peachtree City neighbors simpler and more enjoyable."

Peachtree City will not be the only other RaceTrac prototype store. A few more 6000 prototype stores will open as well. The next to open will be in Gainesville, Ga., on Feb. 16.

According to RaceTrac, the Peachtree City store opening will bring 20 jobs to the community. No grand opening date has been announced.
