SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Casey's General Stores renewed its support of the Springfield Raceway for the 2012 racing season. The convenience store chain will sponsor the Midwest Modified class, according to a Midwest Dirt report.

For the duration of the racing season, Casey's will also serve as the official pit-stop place for the Raceway. Multiple racing-related promotions are planned for the retailer’s Facebook page.

Additional sponsors for the 2012 season include Pepsi-Cola, which will serve as the title sponsor of the grass-roots Purestocks races. Pepsi is also the official soft drink of the Quick-Quarter. Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Purifina bottled water and other Pepsi products are available for purchase at the Raceway.

Budweiser also has returned for a second season as a sponsor of the main event class USRA A-Modifieds and as the official adult beverage of the Quick-Quarter.

The Springfield Raceway is a high-banked, quarter-mile, dirt oval track considered to be the "raciest" track in the four-state area, according to the Midwest Dirt report.
