HEATH, Ohio -- Englefield Oil Co., operator of 130 Duchess Shoppes and quick-service restaurants, has named the replacements for two of its retiring executives. Greg Ehrlich will take on the position of Vice President of Retail Sales following Ed Stephens' pending retirement, and Christopher Beem will serve as Chief Financial Officer after the retirement of Fred Kaseman.

Ehrlich started out in the convenience store business as a full-service attendant with Massachusetts-based Best Petroleum, and went on to serve in a variety of positions, including store manager, division manager, environmental compliance officer, marketing director and ultimately vice president of operations. In 1999, he left the industry to complete his MBA before joining strategy and operations consulting firm A.T. Kearney.

In 2006, Ehrlich rejoined the industry and served as COO at another large Midwest chain operator before launching Convevo Partners, a strategy, operations and marketing consultancy, in 2010. He lives in Bexley, Ohio, with his wife Susan and their children Sam, Max and Lauren.

When he joined Englefield Oil, Beem brought 16 years of experience as a successful finance executive, including knowledge of accounting, strategic planning, credit, treasury and IT organization. Additionally, his previous experience as vice president and controller at Jo-Ann Stores Inc. and various positions with Limited Inc. bring national retail expertise and perspective to Englefield, stated the company. He graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Accounting and Marketing and lives in Powell, Ohio, with his wife Amy and their children Mitch and Emily.
