Three C-Store Retailers Improve Their Fleets
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Three convenience retailers have renewed and expanded their contractual relationships with Fleet One LLC, a financial services provider.
Thorntons Inc. agreed to a three-year contract extension with Fleet One, with whom it has partnered since 1998. The Louisville, Ky.-based chain will continue accepting Fleet One Local fuel cards at its 155 c-store locations in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Connecticut.
Oklahoma City-based Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores also agreed to a three-year contract extension that enables Fleet One Local and OTR card acceptance at Love's 100 travel stops and 67 Country Stores sites nationwide.
Mapco Express Inc., Franklin, Tenn., agreed to an 18-month contract extension for acceptance of both the Fleet One Local and OTR fuel cards. The retailer also added Mapco stores in Virginia and Alabama to the company's network.
“Having quality stores such as Thorntons, Love's and Mapco helps us to expand our fleet customer base and, in turn, grow the fuel marketer's commercial fuel business,” said Michael Thompson, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Fleet One. “Our fuel retailers also benefit from a loyal base of customers who buy products other than fuel at these locations.”
