Thorntons Launches E85 Program
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- In what marks a company first, the Thorntons location on Fern Valley Road began selling E85 fuel, the Courier-Journal reported.
Kentucky’s largest privately owned corporation with over $1 billion in revenue and 2,500 employees, Thorntons Inc. owns and operates 160 convenience stores in six states. Spokeswoman Kelly Ogburn told the paper the chain will evaluate sales before deciding whether to expand E85 availability in Louisville.
