    Tedeschi Food Shops Remodels Another Massachusetts Location

    Westford location is 13th renovation this year for New England-based c-store chain.

    Rockland, Mass. -- Continuing its chainwide renovation, Tedeschi Food Shops remodeled its store at 103 Main Street in Westford, bringing the total of stores remodeled in 2010 to 13.

    This store now offers a wide variety of fresh, healthy options like TD's Deli Express crisp salads, delicious wraps, and hearty sandwiches. Additionally, the location boasts hot and iced Green Mountain coffee and quality Tedeschi Select products.

    A Customer Appreciation event was held at the store Aug. 27. Shoppers were treated to samples of TD's Deli Express sandwiches, Kayem beef franks, Frito-Lay snacks, and Edy's Dibs ice cream. Representatives from Garelick Farms, HyDrive, Myoplex, Snapple, Nantucket Nectars, and Red Bull allowed customers to sample the extensive assortment of beverages that Tedeschi's offers.

    Teams from WEEI Sports Radio Network, WAAF, and Canobie Lake Park provided music and games for the crowd; a few lucky customers won an iPod Touch, passes to Canobie Lake Park, and tickets to New England Patriots and New England Revolution games.

    Established in 1923 in Rockland, Massachusetts, Tedeschi Food Shops, Inc. operates 189 convenience store locations throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut. It generates more than $600 million in annual revenue and has more than 200 employees.
