Tedeschi Adding Coca-Cola Freestyle to 10 C-stores

ROCKLAND, Mass. -- Customers at 10 Tedeschi Food Shops locations will soon be able to mix and match their fountain drinks with new machines.

The locally based retailer will have the machines up and running in select neighborhood convenience stores by July 28, according to a post on its Facebook page. The stores are:

• Taunton - 2068 Bay Street
• Hanover - 228 Columbia Road
• Quincy - 650 Adams Street
• Quincy - 85 Quincy Avenue
• Dorchester - 187 East Cottage Street
• Revere - 191 Shirley Avenue
• Allston - 509 Cambridge Street
• Boston - 141 Mass Avenue
• Medford- 133 Main Street
• Milford - 49 Main Street

The Freestyle unit requires roughly the same amount of space as a typical six- or eight-valve fountain. Using the interactive touchscreen on the front of the freestanding machine, customers can choose from a variety of waters, sports drinks, lemonades and sparkling beverages. Some brands, such as Caffeine-Free Diet Coke with Lime, Fanta Peach and Minute Maid Light Orange Lemonade, have never before been offered in the United States, as CSNews Online previously reported.

Tedeschi Food Shops operates 190 convenience store locations throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
